Micro Climate

It was certainly a busy bank holiday with campers and lambs everywhere! We were fortunate to have a couple of days good weather with holiday makers descending onto the Purbecks and enjoying all the fantastic things about Dorset!

The campsite was well and truly full up and so were our lambing pens. We are definitely nearing the end of lambing for this year and it has flown past. To think we started our very first batch of lambing in February the months have gone so quickly and the lambs have got so big!

The photo below is on a somewhat autumnal day with sunshine and sea mist creeping over the farm on bank holiday weekend. We tend to have a micro climate in this neck of the woods with days where the sea mist does not pass or brilliant sunshine.....a few miles down the road it could be raining!
